Living In Now and Then
Happy Sunday!!! Today was a really nice day. I played with the boys and actually got to sneak in a couple of naps and a super hardcore workout. I also finished cleaning my living room. I am just glad to have my hands back on my keyboard. Tonight there is so much on my mind. I can not even focus. There is so much That I have wanted to do by now. I know I am only 20 years old, but should age have a thing to do with what you achieve? I think I have done a great job so far. Everyone has flaws and setbacks, but I have embraced all of them. My flaws, setbacks, heartbreaks, mistakes, and so much more. No one is perfect. I never planned for many of the things that did happen to me. There are so many people who have something to say about the next person. Even when they are doing worse than you are they will always find something to nitpick about. As I sit here and really think about it I know there are many things that i would have done differently. I would have moved to New York, and went to school. I would have opened different businesses in big cities. Maybe even traveled the world and tried different things, food, and met new people. I find myself wondering what would have happened if I had not met certain people and done certain things if my plans would have been the same. Would I have achieved them all? What would have changed along the way? I know I could possibly still make these things happen. Apart of me feels like I should have just taken my planned road. The other part of me feels like I am fine where I am at. I am alive and well. The best part of it all is that I have two beautiful children. I have a roof over my head. I have a strong relationship. I have my dreams. There is so much right in front of me that I have that often I forget what I could have had. I think that is what ruins a lot of people. They get lost between what the have and what they could of had. When people are always living in the past it ruins their potential future. If you ask me life is really to short to be thinking and living in the past. Though, I do think back on the past I don't try to live it. Why is it so hard for people to live in the moment? I know it is hard for me at times because of where I am now. I like where I am and sometimes I am afraid of changing it. I guess we all have to face change some part of our lives. Bottom line stop looking back so that you can move forward. Take My Word...xoxo JaLeigha
