To My Queen(s)

To my dearest queen(s)... I want you to know you are beautiful inside and out. I want you to know that you don't always have to wear your crown. I want you to know that you can wear your hair down. You can wear your hair in its natural state. I want you to know that its okay to hold your head up high when you are feeling down. I want you to know that it is okay to cry. I want you to know that you don't always have to have a king by your side. I want you to know that you do not have to settle for peasants who are posing as kings. I want you to know that it is okay to fight for your beliefs. I want you to know it is okay to protect your body.

Your body is your temple. Your skin is your shield.

Your spirit is your advocate. Your heart is your compass. Your mind is your growing garden.

I want you to remember that you are raising young princesses and princes. It's okay to go after everything that is yours and everything that is owed to you. I want you to remember that everyone was built differently. It is okay to be of different shapes, sizes, sounds, and colors. I want you to remember that even when it feels like it; you are not all alone. I want you to know that you will always have someone walking by your side through the darkness. I want you to know there will be challenges, but you will be able to overcome. I want you to know that there will be times that you lose the battle. With that lose take time to make room for a win. I want you to know that your voice is powerful. I want you to know patience will help build your strength. I want you to know that you are a powerful force. I want you to know that there will be times where things are not in your favor. It is okay to keep moving forward. It is okay to have standards. It is okay to say no and stand firm. You do not have to bend to society's will. I want you to remember that it is okay to take a break. It is okay to walk away, but you have to marinate on what it is you are walking away from. It is okay to change the environment around you. Things are not always what they seem, heed the people and things in and out of your presence.

God is always walking by your side and there will never be a time where you are going through something that you cannot get through. I want you to know that for every snake slithering through the grass... well... they eventually will run through the mower. It's okay to work hard for everything you need and want. It's also okay to be provided for. Remember that every table starts off with nothing on it. It will often up to you to provide your own meal. Not every queen has loyal friends or servants. Last but not least...Queens do not compete with those below them. YOU ARE A QUEEN NOT EVERY QUEEN WEARS A CROWN. NOT EVERY QUEEN HAS A KING. STAY TRUE TO YOURSELF AND DO YOUR OWN THING. YOUR KINGDOM WILL FALL INTO PLACE FOR YOU.
